Rebecca ‘Beca’ Camire, RYT 400
Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, Buti

Beca first tried yoga when she was 16. Practicing on and off for many years, a regular practice emerged when she realized she needed more balance in life to help compliment her other workouts and the added benefits of reduced stress that came with attending class. Soon the relationship with self on the mat became a pivotal component in how she navigated and processed life off the mat as well. In 2020 she found Buti and was amazed at the release and freedom that came from stepping out of linear flow and into primal movement. She is passionate about helping others connect with themselves and bring their individuality to the mat in a loving & accepting way through empowering movement. During her classes you can expect to focus on the energetic awareness of your body and emotions through space to pause and understand how they are interconnected.

Her trainings include: 200 hour Hatha training, Abhyasa Institute, 2018, 200 hour Vinyasa training, Cure studios, 2021, Buti certification, 2021, Restorative & Yoga Nidra, Embodied Directions, 2022, Sound Healing, Jeffrey Charles Warren, 2023

Devi Dawn Hamilton, RYT 500, Yoga Therapist
Vinyasa, Yoga Nidra

Devi has been practicing yoga and meditation since 1999 to calm her overactive, sensitive, empathic mind. Discovering yoga was like finding a miracle drug with positive side effects. She loves sharing this secret!

Prior to yoga, Devi spent 18 years healing the earth’s oceans. In Florida, she protected endangered sea turtles, dolphins and manatees. In Washington, D.C., she negotiated changes to public law to protect and conserve whales, dolphins, sea turtles, fish and people from dangerous toxins. Devi traveled the world, solo, soaking up its cultures, customs and healing traditions. She spent over 1000 hours training with master teachers. Blending this multicultural wisdom, she offers the lessons of yoga, pranayama and Ayurveda to heal others.

Devi lived on the soothing islands of Maui and Ireland, the beaches of Florida and the peaceful forests of her home state of New Hampshire.

Devi trained with yoga masters Nichala Joy Devi, Dr. Marc Halpern, Amy Weintraub and Shiva Rea and has soaked up the atmosphere of several ashrams. Her certifications include Certified Yoga Therapist, International Association of Yoga Therapists, advanced LifeForce Yoga® Practitioner, and Sivananda certified Siromani. Devi is grateful to be mentored by vinyasa master Tom Gillette and trained with Anusara yogi goddess Jennifer Lynn, and studied Yoga Nidra (integrated relaxation) and pawanmuktasana (joint freeing series) in Australia. Devi is a certified Strategic Intervention Coach, Robbins-Madanes Coaching Academy and currently is completing her training with the American Vedic Institute led by Dr. David Frawley.

Elyse Harris, RYT 200, Marconics Energy Practitioner

Like so many yogis, Elyse initially came to the mat for the physical benefits but stayed because of the rippling effects that yoga initiated—an increased feeling of calm, trust, presence and connection in her day-to-day life.

Elyse is an RYT-200, trained by Missi D‘Arcy of Symmetry Yoga Studio. Her classes are a combination of stillness & flow, familiarity & variety, flexibility & strength, curiosity & rule-breaking, seriousness & lightheartedness.

She utilizes the body and the breath as a bridge to get to the deeper layers that we contain within ourselves, the layers from which we are often distracted.

Elyse is also a Marconic Energy Practitioner. Learn more at www.movefeelheal.com.

Colleen Kendall-Piel, RYT 200
Vinyasa

Through my own yoga experience,  I have discovered, and fallen in love with, the nurturing and spiritual qualities that yoga provides. There is a special joy that comes with arriving in a pose after long practice, patience, and persistence, one small step after the other. My hope is to share this joy with others by making yoga approachable and accessible by offering clear instructions and modifications for all abilities throughout class.

I am an RYT-200 certified instructor practicing vinyasa flow with the influences of both B.K.S. Iyengar and Anusara yoga. I received my first 200RYT through Happy Love Yoga School with Sarah Jones in 2014 and a second 200RYT through Yoga On The Hill with Erin Ehlers in 2020.  Passionate about yoga, I continue to grow my knowledge and understanding of both yoga and movement in the human body through additional training and study.  It is my heart's desire to share this knowledge and love of yoga within the educational setting, offering students the opportunity to find stillness, patience, and gratitude, as well as focus and confidence.

Working hard, every day, I strive to change the phrase, “I can’t” to, “Someday I will,” one yoga pose at a time.

Rachel Castellez-Davidson, RYT 500
Vinyasa, Yin

Rachel received her 200 Hour Yoga Certification in February 2021, and 300 Hour in December 2023 and became certified to teach yin yoga in 2022. She has always been an athlete; volleyball, obstacle course racing, and horseback riding. She was drawn to the physical practice of yoga after suffering multiple traumatic injuries. She found that by learning how to modify her practice she could regain control and wellness of her physical body and mental health. She loves to share modifications, posture variations, and props to help facilitate her classes to make yoga more accessible to everyone. In addition to her love for Power Yoga, Rachel also practices breath work and restorative yoga.

Erin Holt, RYT 200
Hatha,Vinyasa

Erin’s yoga journey began as a physical practice but she soon found herself noticing small things; thought patterns and behaviors and over time her spiritual practice evolved off the mat. While living in Panama she completed her first 200-hour YTT, fully immersed in her practice she found a spark to share this practice with others. Through her classes, she hopes to invite a deeper awareness of self. Using breath to connect to your body and allowing you to move intentionally.

‘ Yoga has brought me so much closer to myself, opened my eyes, and let me heal. It is such a beautiful practice, I look forward to sharing it with you’.

Shannon Mulligan, RYT 200
Vinyasa

Shannon first discovered yoga ten years ago and was immediately hooked after her first class still recalling the lavender aromatherapy in the air and sinking into a beautiful meditation for legs up the wall pose in shavasana. She recently completed her 200 hour through Maha Shala Yoga in Dover and is eager to support others with experiencing that connection to oneself and spirituality through a combination of movement and stillness. Coming from a background in community mental health and after spending the past two years caring for her young daughter, she is excited to jump back into serving the community through yoga. As yoga has greatly benefited her overall lifestyle the past decade, she hopes to be able to continue to support people with their health journey through this incredibly transformative practice. With a focus on mindfulness, pranayama breathing techniques, giving permission for stillness, and an importance on cues and modifications she is sure to make her class accessible to all. She looks forward to meeting some new faces!

Brittney Bullock, RYT 200
Vinyasa

After years of trying classes here and there, Brittney’s yoga journey really began in 2020. While dealing with some exercise-related injuries and feelings of isolation during the pandemic, she found a local studio that quickly became her home away from home. Yoga provided much-needed relief from persistent injuries and a reason to get out and find some movement each day. Brittney quickly realized that it had so much more to offer. As her practice continued for the next few years, yoga helped to calm her mind, find peace with big life decisions and changes, and most importantly find a community. Brittney became a huge advocate for yoga to everyone in her life, insisting that yoga is for all, and eventually deciding she might like to teach. In 2023 Brittney enrolled in her 200-hour YTT and has experienced much growth in her yoga practice and day-to-day life. Brittney believes yoga is all about connection. Connection with the body, the mind, and the world around you. As a teacher, Brittney creates a space for students to feel safe, explore their bodies and minds, connecting deeper to themselves and their community. She hopes to expand her yoga practice and teaching with hiking and the outdoors.

Becky Jenkins, RRT, LMT
Vinyasa, Massage Therapist

Becky brings 13 years of experience teaching vinyasa classes and 10 years practicing massage therapy on the New Hampshire seacoast. Becky’s yoga journey began in 2009 when she started her 200-hr Rasamaya YTT program with Carrie Tyler in Dover, NH. Carrie’s strong background in anatomy was Becky’s first introduction to the importance of anatomical knowledge and functional movement in structuring and teaching a movement class. Becky spent years teaching at Prasada Yoga Center in North Hampton, NH, under Dana Lincoln, another teacher with a very strong anatomy background.

Wanting to deepen her knowledge of the body and how all of its pieces fit together, Becky completed the Massage Therapy program at Great Bay Community College (GBCC) in Dec. 2012 and opened up her own small practice immediately after.

Becky enjoys weaving functional movement and strength work into her classes, encouraging students to heal their muscles and joints through smart sequencing and intentional breathing. She strongly believes that the best teacher one can have is one’s own self. She has studied under and is continually inspired by Bo Forbes, Karen Kenney, Leslie Kamanoff and Trina Altman.

Emily York, RYT 200
Vinyasa

Emily began yoga at age 14 at her local YMCA simply because her mom thought it might be a good idea for her, but even at a young age she was able to notice just how much yoga benefited her both physically and mentally. Most of all, she noticed how much yoga helped her with stress and anxiety. After her very first class, she knew she wanted to be a teacher one day, and she finally received her 200hr yoga teacher certification in February 2024 at Bending Bodhi in Dover. In her training, she was able to learn how powerful the breath is in this practice. She hopes that she can help people feel the same benefits that she feels after she practices. She would love to help introduce yoga to younger generations as she knows it benefits kids way more than they will realize at the time. As a teacher, she hopes to create an inclusive space where people feel comfortable to use whatever props and take any variations that they need for their own body. She believes yoga is for everyone.

Off of her mat, Emily is a busy student at UNH studying marketing and outdoor adventure recreation. She has a passion for the outdoors and preserving nature for future generations. She’s an animal lover and a nature lover. If she's not in class, you can find her skiing, hiking, or hanging out with her dogs.

Olivia Griffin, RYT 200
Vinyasa

In addition to being a yoga teacher, Olivia is also a life-long student. She attended her first heated class at the age of twelve, and the rest is history. After witnessing how yoga could shift her awareness entirely, her practice became a stabilizing force throughout the many seasons of her life.

Olivia's classes are an invitation to go deeper and become more present with the wisdom of your body. She approaches her practice with a sense of curiosity and gratitude, drawing from her knowledge of functional movement, spirituality, and the flow of energy.

Olivia also enjoys music (both listening and playing), art, nature, and has an unquenchable thirst for travel and exploration.

At Symmetry, we have a dynamic team of yoga teachers to help you expand your practice.
